Community College Degree Linkage Program

A process for those who have difficulty entering Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) immediately after entering a community college (CC) and then completing 12 or more credits to transfer to ERAU.

*Aeromain, LLC in the US is in charge of all the processes below, and thorough management continues until the final stage of employment.

Step 1: Community College Admission (1 semester (6 months) course = 12 credits for transfer)

There are numerous CCs in the United States, but in AeroGuard, it is located in the same Phoenix area. It is the best private university for aviation and right next to the worldwide Phoenix-Mesa Campus of Embry-Riddle, the transfer target university. The University of Aviation is the best public university. We select well-known CCs such as Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC), which has a Training Center in North Dakota (hereinafter referred to as UND) and is conducting a flight link course, and discusses with the person in charge.

As a result, CC courses have been programmed to be recognized when transferring to ERAU, and the process of transferring to ERAU Worldwide after completing 12 credits (1 semester) or transferring to UND after completing 2 years has been programmed.

CC admission conditions (same for freshman and transfer)

- High school and college grades (2.0 or higher / 4.0 perfect score)*

- TOEFL score of 62 ~ 70 (iBT) or higher or IELTS Overall 5.0 ~ 5.5 or higher**

- Proof of bank balance (1 year tuition and living expenses): $20,230 (approximately 23 million won)

* Other than this, no SATs, essays, or letters of recommendation are required.

** If your English score is lower than this, conditional admission, such as taking ESL courses, is possible.

Deadline: July 1st for fall semester (admission in August) / November 1st for spring semester (entrance in January)

Application details: admission consulting, filling out the application form and preparing application documents, confirming and consulting with the school staff, airport pick-up, accommodation guidance, meeting with the advisor on the first visit to the school, preparing for the placement test, being recognized when transferring to Embry-Riddle Course selection consulting, academic management, preparation of application forms and documents for transfer, successful transfer support

Stage 1 Result: Possess 12 credits for Embry-Riddle Worldwide transfer and take English courses for TOEFL exemption

Note: If you receive a low score on the English Placement Test at the time of admission to CC, you cannot take Academic English courses for TOEFL exemption when transferring to ERAU, and if you take ESL (not recognized as credits for graduation), you will receive 2 may have to take a semester

Phase 2: Flight training at AeroGuard with transfer to Embry-Riddle Worldwide (degree course and flight training: approximately 2 to 2½ years)

Embry-Riddle has mostly the same admissions requirements for Daytona, Prescott, and Worldwide, and the Worldwide campus is not an online university (limited online courses are available)

Embry-Riddle Worldwide Transfer Requirements* (SAT, essay, and recommendation for new students)

- 12 credits or more from college (credits held, not credits that can be recognized) 2.0 or more (based on a perfect score of 4.0) (high school grades are not required)

- TOEFL score of 79 ~ 80 (iBT) or higher or IELTS Overall 6.0 or higher or English writing credit at university (C grade or higher)

- Proof of bank balance (tuition and living expenses for one year): $24,500 (approximately KRW 27 million)

Embry-Riddle Major: If you obtain an FAA commercial license with Aeronautics (Aeronautics), up to 33 credits will be recognized.

Received flight training in AeroGuard during the day and participated in classes at Embry-Riddle in the evening to obtain an Embry-Riddle Worldwide degree (4-year American official degree) and FAA private car, instrument, business, and instructor's license in about two to two and a half years. .

Support: When obtaining a FAA business license (up to 33 credits), select subjects that avoid recognized subjects, thorough academic management, flight education consulting, and OPT application

Phase 2 Results: Graduation from Embry-Riddle Worldwide and acquisition of private, instrument, business, and instructor licenses at AeroGuard at your own expense (approximately 250 total flight hours)

Step 3: After graduating from Embry-Riddle Worldwide, use OPT to work as an instructor at AeroGuard (up to 1000 or 1500 hours) (Approximately 12 months, use OPT) If you apply for OPT before graduating from Embry-Riddle, get approved, and meet the instructor requirements, AeroGuard hired as an instructor and paid an hourly wage

Step 3 Result: 1500 flight hours for US airline jobs

Options:

- Westwind Air Service after 500 hours

- Return to Korea after 1000 hours and support for counter airlines, etc.

- After 1500 hours, support for US regional airlines such as Mesa Airlines

Support items: Instructor service consulting, application form and document preparation for joining a local airline in the US, job preparation and interview preparation, employment consulting

Step 4: Pilot experience up to 2,500 hours or more in the case of joining a US regional airline (approximately 24 months, using OPT)

Support items: US pilot employment consulting through current pilots of major US airlines

Step 4 Results: Securing experience to apply for career positions in Korean airlines

Step 5: After applying for Korean Airlines with experience in US regional airlines Jet or Prop, join the company
