Korean license holder

Before Type Rating, the Korean license must be converted to FAA license. If you have a brief interview after submitting an application for conversion to FAA license, you can convert your Korean private license to FAA private license. If you switch to FAA's personal license, type rating training is possible.

One thing to keep in mind here is that it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to switch to a license head, so you need to apply for a license switch at least 4 weeks before you want to start the type rating.

We take care of the license change process for you, just send us the necessary documents. There is no fee required for license change, but you need to pay $250 for the service fee because of the manpower and expenses involved in processing the license change documents for those who come for type rating, FSDO reservation, and interview practice, and IFP (instrumental written test) reservation. This fee is non-refundable even if you fail to do rating training.
