Before college graduation: FAA Commercial/instructor license + instructor experience
After graduating from college: Employment at a regional airline in the US

  • Embry-Riddle (Worldwide) / Arizona State University / Transferred to a 4-year system after entering Community college
  • AeroGuard flight training (Private/Instrument/Commercial/Instructor license acquisition) and instructor experience
  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautics recognizes up to 33 credits when obtaining FAA Instructor license
  • Recruited as AeroGuard Instructor during the semester*
  • Get a job at a regional airline in the US after graduation**
*When the instructor requirements are met (preferably hired)
** Negotiated with airlines to join US regional airlines. Provision of employment information and interview training program

Permanent residents or citizens do not need a visa such as OPT to work as an instructor during the semester or after graduation, as there are no restrictions on employment as an instructor or airlines. Therefore, you can work as an instructor while attending college, so if you accumulate enough instructor hours, you can join a regional airline in the US upon graduation.
